    OH and TX

Well I haven't gotten in here and written much in awhile and I've traveled to two faires since my last post so I figured I'd sit down and write about them both.

I had a great time off in OH in September. It was an honor to attend the handfasting of Capt. Sin and his lovely first mate Willa Swallow. The trip out was a long one, hitting the road around 1:30 am then picking up my sis FairyFly before shoving off. We stopped a for a few short rests on the way out, had some great conversations and some delays before making it to the BS camp around 7:30 pm. Laughter and good times as always were in the air at the Bayou Scoundrel's camp. The morning of the ceremony was a bit rough for me, I almost missed the handfasting due to being a bit upset and the ceremony starting a few minutes early. I was upset because Friday night I had lost a ring that my son gave to me and it had me quite disheartened for a good part of the weekend. Despite this I did have a great time and the faire was a beautiful place. I spent most of my time just hanging out with my fellow RF'ers and it did my soul good to be there. I also got my hat at that faire! Yay for shopping!! hehe! I hated to have to leave but life does not revolve around faire, at least not while I have a little one depending on me. Perhaps when I'm older! *chuckles*

TRF for Halloween weekend was probably my best faire experiance yet. The place is HUGE and I don't think I even saw half of it during the weekend. Now I know I have to make it back there for as many Halloween's as I can. I barely saw any shows but had such an amazing time. I can't wait to experiance more and different things next time. I think the reason it tops the best experiance yet though was because of the on site camping. Hanging out around the fire pit, people wandering in from other camps, lazying around in the morning without worrying about what time we actually made it in the front gate. I saw more people in camp then I managed to come across in the faire itself. Spending that time with the Bayou Scoundrel's though was what topped it all off. I've come to be so very close with them, since first meeting them in TN they have become family to me. I can hardly imagine going to a faire without them being there because I know when they are that the time is just that much better.
